The Intentional Gratitude Experiment!

I read about this the other day and thought that we should give it a try.
I was randomly floating through the internet when I stumbled upon the idea of Intentional Gratitude. You see Intentional Gratitude is when you are actively appreciative of everything around you. It all stems from the Law of Attraction where, what you think about, you bring about.
So, starting today, I am embarking on the Intentional Gratitude Experiment. I will be doing this for the entire month of May and for the next 31days and will be posting at least one thing (doesn’t matter how small it is), if not a list for which I am grateful each day.
The point of the Intentional Gratitude Experiment is to focus on or actively appreciate what is wonderful in my life and the world around me thus bringing more wonderful intentionally into my life. Doesn’t that sound great? More wonderful.
You know what would be even better, is for readers of this blog add their own grateful moments of the day in the comment section below each day. Together by sharing our gratitudes, we can be reminded of other things we should be grateful for.
As Abraham-Hicks always says, “Get tuned in, tapped in,” or, “Rather than being aware of the missing pieces, have a conversation about what’s working,” or “Be what you want to become.”
Gratitude, which has been said by so many teachers (Dyer, Chopra etc), is an energy that attracts more goodness into our lives.
Sounds good? Great! Let’s make a commitment together now, to post at least one thing we are grateful for a day here on this blog and watch our lives transform.

Dr Wayne Dyer on Contemplation
In our lives, we always give excuses and blame to get out of problems and situations. In this video, Dr. Wayne Dyer explains why excuses and blame makes us what we are and how to change it.
Notes:
- When contemplation is a match to originating spirit, you gain the cooperation of divine mind, attracting and fulfilling our desire.
- Our thoughts cannot be on excuses.
- Contemplation is an action in and of itself which sets into motion all of the creative forces of the universe. IE As you start to contemplate from the place that all things are possible, and you can create all things you want in your life, then you set into motion the creative forces that are operating the universe.
- When you rely on excuse, you allow your false self or ego to contemplate what you do not want or why you cannot create it for yourself. IE I’m to old. It’s going to take too long.
- The presence of excuses in your life is evident that you contemplate what you can’t do or have, rather than the infinite possibilities that are inherent in the divine creative self.
- To rid yourself of excuses you must learn to practise contemplating what you intend to manifest and simeltanously detach from the out come.
- Contemplate like God does with thought of how can I serve.
- Allow the divine to grow within you.
- Instead of thinking what might happen, think from the end.
- How willing are you to attract into your life what you want and to rid yourself of your excuses. Willingness - suspending all of your blame. Taking total responsibility that is in your life. To surrender.
- Arrange whatever pieces come your way and make it work for you ~ Virgina Woolf
