WHEN YOU’RE THINKING about the principle of alignment, keep in mind that Source energy is ever present, and that you always have the power to bring yourself into harmony with who you really are. And who you really are is a higher awareness than your earthbound form. Just this simple idea—that you’re not an ego-based self but rather Divine energy in physical form—will help read just your energy. Once you recognize your Divinity, you’ll shift out of misaligned thought patterns. Such thinking focuses on what’s wrong or missing, what others have told you are your limitations, what always has been, what used to be, and so on.

Realization…

I’m quickly beginning to realize that I rarely do what makes me, my Self happy.  I’ve discovered that my inner being is not as happy as it could or should be.  I sit at a desk all day and work away, go home and stare at the tv then pass out and start all over.  Well, I’ve decided to take steps to make my inner self as happy as possible.  These steps include being true to myself in all situations.  If I feel like doing something, I’ll do it no matter what anyone thinks even if I have to do it alone.

I’m beginning to think that the key to happiness and positive thinking power is making your spirit happy. Now I’m not talking religion, just your inner being or your soul or inner child if you want to call it that.

Notice people who seem happy.  What is it that they are doing?  It seems like they are just enjoying life, they are relishinig the moment they are in.  Well why is it that I do not do what makes me happy?  I’ve noticed that as kids we automatically do what makes us happy or what brings us joy without even thinking about it.  Don’t believe me?  The next time you have a chance look at a bunch of kids playing.  I’m talking children around the ages of 3 - 8.  I’m sure they’ll be doing whatever brings them joy to their inner being whether that be dancing, pretend playing, jumping on a bed or whatever.  At that moment, they are happy.  Unfortuanatley it seems that as we move further along in life, we stop doing what makes us happy.  Why?  Are you happy?

I’ve heard and read many reasons to this ‘why’.  Some say we become more detached from source energy (what gives life to all) and thus lose touch with that feeling of happiness as we age.  Others say we forget how to ‘play’ because that’s what ’should’ happen when you reach a certain age.  But who says we have to stop playing just because we have “responsiblities”.

Well I choose to play and jump up and down on my bed and dance to your hearts content with my headphones on walking down the street or do whatever makes me happy.

I’m going to try this ‘play’ and see how it goes.  You should try to.  Let me know.
