You’re Already Using the Law of Attraction…Now Use it to Get What You Actually Want!

Since the vastly popular movie, The Secret burst onto the scene a few years ago, millions of people everywhere have been trying to figure out how to use this Law of Attraction thing to manifest more prosperity, love and success into their lives. Many watched Oprah’s shows featuring several individuals who used this Law to totally transform their lives. The problem was that many of these viewers became frustrated when it they couldn’t figure out how to use the Law of Attraction and did not have the same results as those featured in the movie and on Oprah. Ultimately many dismissed it as just wishful thinking.
What most seekers don’t understand is that they are already using the Law of Attraction. Unfortunately, most are using it unconsciously and attracting everything they don’t want. Even techniques taught in The Secret (like repeating positive affirmations and visualizing prosperity) don’t seem to be bringing you the prosperity, success, or love that you really want. Is this happening to you?
Or, maybe you’ve got the Law of Attraction thing down. You understand how it works and have perhaps manifested some small blessing in your life. Still, you wonder why you keep experiencing the same challenges over and over in that problematic area of your life. Let’s explore why that might be, and learn how you can utilize this powerful force to attract what you do want ¦in every area of your life.
In science, the law of attraction refers to a chemical affinity or a physical condition where like attracts like. Not unlike the laws of physical science, the law of attraction is very real and works in our experience exactly the same way. How? Well, because the universe is fundamentally energy. We are, therefore, fundamentally energy and our thoughts are fundamentally energy. Our predominate thoughts and our emotionally charged thoughts actually emit frequencies science can measure. These frequencies attract like experience in our outer world. It’s all energy. One is the inner, the other is the outer.
You are, therefore, attracting to yourself in physical form and experience the vibrational equivalent of your beliefs. Your present reality is comprised of your beliefs in form.
There’s a catch here however…something most who teach about the Law of Attraction don’t talk about:
There is not sufficient energy in your occasional beliefs, your repeated affirmations, or what you are picturing during visualization to manifest as form in your experience. There simply isn’t. What does have the energy to manifest are your deeply held beliefs and they do. You are attracting into your life experiences and conditions that match your deeply held core beliefs. Techniques such as repeating positive affirmations or visualization do not, on their own, transform these core beliefs.
What do I mean by deeply held core beliefs? I mean your personal world view — which you keep alive by your attitudes and perceptions as you interact with the world. Some examples might be: The only truly wealthy people are those born into it. Or, it’s only who you know that matters. Or, the older you get the harder it is to find true love. Or, you’ve got to be really smart or clever to earn lots of money (and I’m not). Or, all good things come to an end. These are not conscious beliefs, mind you. They live in the dark recesses of your subconscious.
Compounding the problem is that we live in a world that continually tells us we are limited, that there’s not enough to go around and that we are victims of fate and at the mercy of an unkind world.
Discovering and transforming these limiting core beliefs is absolutely essential if you want to manifest a more expansive and abundant life. The good news is that you can do it. This is totally in your power. The reality is that it takes some work. However, I’ve come up with a 3-step plan that will make that work a little easier and very effective.
Practice these three keys and watch as the floodgates open and an abundance of love, joy, prosperity and success pours into your life. Then, you’ll be the one on Oprah sharing with the world how you’ve applied the Law of Attraction and are now experiencing the manifestation of limitless good in your life.
1. Love yourself unconditionally. Love yourself…unconditionally. Even when you blow your diet, think or say unkind things about others, file your taxes late, forget to call your mom, etc., etc., forgive yourself. You’re doing the best you can at any given moment. You have the chance to start again tomorrow. See yourself as a magnificent child of Infinite Love. Notice your wonderful qualities. Where are you proud of yourself? Where are you beautiful? Notice that and give yourself credit.
2. Treat yourself with kindness. Think about how you treat a new friend. Don’t you tend to give them the benefit of the doubt? Wouldn’t you be quick to recommend they treat themselves to something special whether it’s a good movie, a good book, a great restaurant,or a full-body massage? Treat yourself the same way. Act as if you were your own best friend.
3. Affirm a higher truth about yourself. Even if you are currently experiencing limitation in any area of your life, you have the capacity to rise above the experience and call forth a higher truth for your life. Even in the midst of a stressful time, a frustrating relationship, financial lack or a health issue, you can consciously connect with the abundance and harmony of the Universe and claim your good as a beloved child of the Divine. When it becomes yours in consciousness, it will become yours in experience shortly thereafter.

How to Use The Secret in Your Life, Starting Today

The Secret and What The Bleep Do We Know (Down the Rabbit Hole) since they first came out in 2006 and 2004, respectively. After the concept and digging deeper, I feel I have a deeper understanding of how to successfully incorporate The Secret, or the law of attraction, into your life.
One time, and only once, I went to an online forum that had a section dedicated to The Secret and how to apply the law of attraction in your life. At first I was interested in meeting like-minded people online, but was instead saddened at what I found. 99.9% of the people in the forum were sure the law of attraction was the answer to their life’s prayer, which was to find a way to sit on the couch and wish for money to drop into their mailbox every day. Almost every single user was focused on money, money, and more wealth. Whether or not the secret was truly hidden from lay-people for hundreds of years, thanks to that forum I now understand why it could have been reserved for the intellectually adept - I don’t believe it’s meant or able to work in selfish, greedy, mental environments.
The secret isn’t just about wishing for money folks, so if that’s what you’ve been doing and wonder why you’ve run into failure, all I can say is yer doin’ it wrong [sic]. There is a fundamental difference between greed and wanting good things to come into your life via the law of attraction. That difference is balance combined with a good attitude. The secret must be used in every aspect of the way you think, and it must come in the way of genuine positive thoughts. It’s not easy. Constantly finding the positive in bad situations takes time, patience, and perhaps a certain type of personality or inborn awareness of the world around you. It might not work for everyone, but it is designed to work with anyone.
Before the secret will work for you, you have to understand the concept of energy, and how every single thing, living or not, including the universe itself, is made from the same energy. For those who never studied this concept in school, you might want to do some research if you’re
having a hard time understanding or believing in this concept. Study up on the basics of quantum physics and theories. Find websites that teach the big picture of energy. Not equating what you learn to a god or your religion, at least initially, will help in this learning process. Open your mind up to new possibilities and you will be well on your way to understanding the most basic concepts of the secret.
Put these two together (constant positivity and embracing the concept that everything is ultimately the same energy), and only then will you be in the right frame of mind to start using the secret. It’s not easy at first, but attaining the balance of wants and positivity will happen, and once you give in to a new way of thinking, things will happen quickly.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting money to drop into your lap, but again, that’s not the right frame of mind. You might remember Bob Proctor, one of the commentators in the movie The Secret. In The Secret, he says you attract everything that comes into your life, good or bad, by what you see and feel in your mind. Many people stop at that concept and wonder why the secret doesn’t work. If you watch Proctor’s older seminars, you quickly learn that you can’t just sit on your couch wishing for good things to fall into your lap. You must work towards what you want.
Use the secret to ask for money or a new car, if that’s what you want and be thankful as if you’ve already received it, but at the same time find a way to make money. Whether you’re unemployed, disabled, or a stay at home mom with little time on your hands, there is always a way to work towards making even a little money. Look online for ways to work from home, use the internet for profit (blogs, ad revenue, etc.), or find a hobby that is profitable. But, whatever you choose to take on, you must be passionate about it, and you must feel like the endeavor will succeed beyond your expectations. You can’t be lazy in thoughts or actions. Ask for money, find a way to work towards that goal, and it will happen. And yes, people who are truly in sync with the law of attraction can do less work than those who only think they get it, so doing your homework will pay off immensely.

Dreams come true, here’s proof
I don’t believe in New Years Resolutions, I believe in Write-Off Day (December 31st). Write Off Day is a day that serves like the red-line at the end of the quarter in most businesses, where you write off the losses. I wake up December 31st and make a list of all the things I regret, dislike or didn’t love about the year before, then right as the clock strikes midnight, I burn the list. This allows me to start fresh on January 1st, with no expectations, only hopes. I definitely don’t set resolutions that are sure to set me up for failure.
In January 2009 I started a new tradition. I created my first dream board (some people call them vision boards).
Oprah has been promoting the dream board (and the concept of The Secret) for years on her show. A good friend of mine, Lorraine Salgueiro, of Bliss Yoga in Encinitas, was my 2009 dream board coach. Lorraine’s coined phrase is, “Have faith in destiny, the Universe always lines up.” And she is one of those people that just seem to have everything fall into place, always.
The dream board came about by accident. One night she had me over for margarita’s and showed me her dream board. Not only was it filled with beautiful pictures and images of dreams she had for herself, but it made her smile. I saw hope in her eyes, and belief written across her face. She started to pull out old dream boards from years past, and she’d point and say, “This house was on my dream board, I bought it that very year,” or “this was my dream for my yoga studio, it looks just like Bliss doesn’t it?”
I was sold. I left her house and went to Barnes & Noble and bought a ton of magazines. Then I ran to Target and bought a poster board, then I showed back up at her doorstep the next night with a bottle of wine. “Teach me,” I asked her.
We corked the bottle and spent the next few hours tearing up pictures in the magazines, I had far more dreams than the board would hold. She coached me to “be specific,” indicating that the very dreams I would wish for, would in fact manifest themselves.
I narrowed down my pictures and pasted up my dream board. I went home and put it on the bedroom wall so it would be the first thing I would see every day when I woke up. Suffice to say, my dream board images followed me around, while shocking at first I began to laugh as things just seemed to creep up (like a couple kissing on the edge of the ocean with a golf course behind them).
Manifestation, or the concept of “The Secret” says, we create what is in front of us. The belief is that each of us has control over our destiny. If we are having a bad day we have the sole ability to change our attitudes, and not be burdened with the weight of stress and depression.
An example in The Secret book is that If we wish for a good parking space, and truly believe we will get a good parking space, and even go as far as to visualize ourselves pulling into that space, a spot will present itself.
After I created my dream board, I spent the rest of the month reading about the “law of attraction,” “the secret,” and “creating destiny” and realized from example after example, that yes, in fact I am in control of my future. I’d always been the type of person who lived in optimism, but that’s when I began focusing on creating what I wanted. I was careful to send only positive energy and thoughts out to the “Universe” Lorraine always spoke about.
I started to realize that everything I put out, I got back, even the negative…even the bad. Some people call this concept karma.
As the end of 2009 approached, I spoke to my boss at the Examiner about doing a San Diego Top 10 news recap for the year. But something in me ached to share my own personal reflection of 2009…
We create our dreams.
The following is a slide show, beginning with my dream board (created in January) followed by real-life photos taken mostly by accident during the course of 2009. Seeing is believing, dream boards work, and all my dreams came true.
One thing is certain; I will be very careful, and very specific with my dream board in 2010, because I’m incredibly powerful at manifesting what I want. One thing I realized was that as a single girl in the beginning of the year, I had chosen a lot of pictures that represented love, and women in relationships in love. I also realized that every “guy” I put on my dream board, had dark hair and light eyes, no wonder I didn’t wind up with that blonde haired blue eyed boy. Be careful what you wish for – it just may come true.
Lorraine is holding a “building dreams” workshop at Bliss Yoga the first week in January; contact her at 760-632-8330 or blissyogaworld.com to see your dreams to reality in 2010.

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) December 17, 2009 — MobiAppLab™ has released a fun, new ‘Magic 8-ball’ style iPhone app called The Advisor that offers advice based on the Law of Attraction (LOA).

Many people have a difficult time making decisions. Whether those decisions are small or large, consulting The Advisor can be a great way to break the normal pattern of anxiety or procrastination. The Advisor, which can be consulted with a quick shake of the iPhone, can bring the wisdom of the Law of Attraction directly to anyone with an iPhone.
Fans of “The Secret” or anyone who believes in the Law of Attraction or who wants to learn more about the LOA will want to download this iPhone app.
The app is designed to help break old approaches to dealing with issues and learn to look at problems from the perspective of the Law of Attraction. The more the iPhone app is used, the more the user will be in alignment with the Law of Attraction.
The Advisor can be used for both personal and business decision-making. The iPhone app can be used to help navigate personal decisions – from simple purchase decisions, to romance, trip taking, relationship issues and more. The iPhone app can also be consulted for advice or fun when doing business.
Phil Herman, President, Potential Unlimited, Inc., an LOA fan and iPhone owner who uses the app says “This app is fun! It won’t give direct yes or no answers, but we want to trust our inner emotional guidance from Source anyway. What it does do is remind us of some useful and fun ways to approach any issue, situation or question. Just shake-shake-shake your iPhone!”
There are two parts to this app, The Advisor and LOA Explained. The Advisor section of the app offers advice on any problem or issue based on the Law of Attraction. Simply shuffle the deck by shaking the phone, and then choose a card with a touch of a finger. The card will flip over, revealing the exact advice for any situation.
There are over 125 different responses. Since the advice is based on the Law of Attraction, different advice may be given each time a question is asked. Some terms are specific to the Law of Attraction; if the advice includes one of these terms, a window will pop up providing the precise definition of the term.
The LOA Explained part of the app explains the basic principles of the Law of Attraction in a simple question and answer format. A bookmark will let the user return to where they left off in the reading process even when the app is re-launched.
Susan Nichol, President, MobiAppLab™ says of The Advisor app and their experience as iPhone developers “The response has been phenomenal. I even have people emailing me asking if it works to shake other objects for advice such as pens, toothbrushes, even cigarettes. The Advisor app will be used by our development team to guide us in the development of our next successful app. The real value comes from asking the questions.”
The Advisor app is available for the iPhone and iPod touch for $.99 from the App Store or at http://mobiapplab.com/mobile/iPhone/index.html.

6 Powerful Law of Attraction Quotes to Help You Change Your Life!
December 7, 2009 by admin
The following law of attraction quotes from the hit movie, “The Secret”, focus on your thoughts and feelings. If you study these law of attraction quotes and start applying them to your life, you will begin to experience magic in your life like you never imagined!
December 4, 2009 ( PowerHomeBiz.com ) - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the law of attraction is working in your life. It doesn’t even matter whether you are aware of it or not, or if you want it to or not – it never stops. This is why it is so important to learn how to control your thoughts and feelings so you attract positive things into your life. The following law of attraction quotes from the hit movie, “The Secret”, focus on your thoughts and feelings. If you study these law of attraction quotes and start applying them to your life, you will begin to experience magic in your life like you never imagined!
Law of Attraction Quotes 1: “You become and attract what you think.” Your thoughts are far more powerful than you may have ever realized. While this may seem to be a new concept, it’s been around for centuries. The Bible states something very similar, that you are what you think. It’s all about focus. If you focus on negative things, you will attract negative things into your life. If you focus on positive, happy things, the Universe will send happy things your way. You must choose your thoughts carefully. They will determine everything you attract into your life!
Law of Attraction Quotes 2: “People think about what they don’t want and attract more of the same.” If you habitually think about everything you want but don’t have in your life, you will never attract the things you desire. Instead, you just attract more lack. For instance, if you are like many people who often think or say, “I never seem to have enough money”, you will keep attracting “not enough money”. If you don’t want scarcity, then you must stop thinking about what’s scarce in your life.
Law of Attraction Quotes 3: “What you focus on with your thought and feeling is what you attract into your experience.” The best way to begin attracting the things you really desire is to begin changing your thoughts and emotions to reflect those things. The tricky part here is to not think in terms of not having them (as discussed above), but to act and feel as if you had everything you desire right now. That’s how you begin attracting them. The next quote explain this a little more…
Law of Attraction Quotes 4: “The Law of Attraction is simply figuring out for yourself what will generate the positive feelings of having what you want now.” What you feel most of the time plays a key role in what you attract. So, if happy, joyful, grateful emotions dominate your life, positive things will come your way. One of the best ways to create positive feelings is to imagine already living the life of your dreams. Really get into the feelings of having that life…the more you feel those positive feelings now, the more quickly you will attract that life. To put it another way, you must believe it (and feel it) to see it!
Law of Attraction Quotes 5: “Happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances.” It is so very important that you find ways to shift your feelings so they are more positive. The more things you can feel joyful, happy, and grateful about, the more you will attract positive, wonderful things.
Law of Attraction Quotes 6: “What we think about and THANK about is what we bring about.” Gratitude is really important when it comes to making the law of attraction work in your life. No matter what is currently going on in your life today, there is always something for which you can be thankful. Once you start focusing on gratitude, you will be amazed how much you will find that you can “thank about”. Do this, and your life will change dramatically!
Hopefully you are beginning to see the wisdom and power in these famous law of attraction quotes. Write them down, memorize them, and review these law of attraction quotes several times a day. As you do this, begin shifting your thoughts and feelings to those which will allow you to attract the things you truly desire!

Positive Thoughts Give Elite Athletes The Vital Edge
December 1, 2009 by admin

LONDON (Reuters) - Elite professional sport with its unrelenting demands tests the mind and spirit as much as the body.
When the difference between winning and losing can be a fraction of a second or the unexpected bounce of a ball, encouraging positive thoughts and banishing the fear of failure is a consistent theme in the lives of successful athletes.
England cricket captain Andrew Strauss is a recent convert to the power of positive thinking, praising the controversial self-help book “The Secret” after his spell in the international wilderness.
“The theory is what you think about happens,” said Strauss in his own book “Testing Times.” “If you think positive thoughts, then those thoughts will come about.”
“The Secret” by Australian writer Rhonda Byrne, which started life as a film, has been praised as a life-changing text and criticized as pretentious psychobabble.
Whatever the verdict, the lessons Strauss drew in 2008 — positive thoughts, a winning frame of mind, visualizing success — are certainly not new.
Twenty-five years earlier, the same principles resurrected the life and career of New Zealand’s greatest cricketer Richard Hadlee.
At the end of an exhausting year on and off the field, Hadlee was close to a physical and mental breakdown.
“It may sound a little melodramatic, but at this stage I was preoccupied with the thought of death,” he said. “I was convinced I had heart trouble which in turn made me worse.”
WILKINSON RETURNS
Motivation expert Grahame Felton, who ran a three-hour course for the Canterbury team, transformed Hadlee’s life.
Felton talked about visualization, control and belief, explained that fear was negative and emphasized the importance of setting targets.
“It’s not easy to recapture the mood of that session,” Hadlee recalled. “It was intense. Grahame’s message came across to me so forcibly it was like suddenly seeing the light.”
There are, of course, logical difficulties with all these positive thoughts, described in “The Secret” as the “law of attraction.”
Strauss was asked by a skeptical interviewer where the balance of power lay when the opposing bowler pounded in with his mind also packed with positive intent.
“I suppose the law of attraction says that if the bowler believes in himself more than you believe in yourself, then he will come out on top,” Strauss conceded.
“But I have always believed, and I suppose you have got to believe this as a batsman, that if I do everything right, then no bowler will get me out. Ever. In other words, the law of attraction is more on my side than his.”
Statistics are on Strauss’s side. He has had uninterrupted success as a batsman since his return to the England side and led his country to an Ashes win over Australia this year.
The year also marked the return of Jonny Wilkinson to the England rugby side. Wilkinson’s battles against a seemingly endless series of injuries since he drop-kicked the winning goal in the 2003 World Cup final are well documented.
So, too, are his public agonizing over the obsessive search for perfection which has dominated his life.
QUANTUM PHYSICS
“I was born a perfectionist,” Wilkinson said in his book “Tackling Life.” “For as long as I can remember I have fought for an ideal world and my own flawless image within it.
“I have left these beliefs firmly behind. Searching for perfect, lasting results in a world of forever evolving and unforeseeable events had been a very expensive and unforgiving vocation at times.”
Wilkinson, 30, has sought endlessly to find the serenity which has eluded him for most of his sporting career. Last year he embraced quantum physics and Buddhism.
“I do not like religious labels but there is a connection between quantum physics and Buddhism, which I was also getting into,” he said. “Failing at something is one thing but Buddhism tells us that it is up to us how we interpret that failure.”
London-based sports psychologist Victor Thompson, who specializes in anxiety, stress and confidence, said the further athletes advanced in their sports, the more important positive thinking became.
“You are more likely to get more success because you expect it,” he told Reuters in a telephone interview.
“It’s not necessarily that it’s given you any extra powers, it’s just sort of switching on the bits of you that are more active and positive and doing things in a more helpful way than being more fearful, restrictive, cautious and negative.
“It’s nothing particularly new. It’s just that some people get interested, new books come out and they try to practice some of the principles.
“At higher levels your mental preparation, your mental focus while you’re performing and your recovery after a bad event is all the more important,
“The higher you go, the intensity, the difficulty of the challenge increases quite a lot, especially if you are doing it for money, for sponsorship. There’s a lot more resting on it when you are at a higher level.
“It’s how you approach it, the idea to win is understandable but there is only one winner. You have to be realistic and do your best.”
