- We resist in many ways: verbal and non verbal. Beliefs, assumptions like ‘they won’t let me,’ and blaming others are other ways of resisting. We put our change on hold i.e. ‘the time isn’t right’.
- Fear is another form of resistance i.e. ‘I’m afraid to do that.’ They are all excuses.
- Change yourself first then teach by example.
- When you are willing to accept your family and friends as they are, it is only then that they will accept you for who you are.
- Be willing to practice what we want.
- Do your own mental work to heal yourself which will in turn help your friends because they will see a change in you.
- Using the mirror say, ‘I am willing to change.’ Remember it is only a thought and a thought can change. Don’t let this thought stop your from becoming free.
- We create habits and problems to fulfill a need within us. When we can find a positive way to fulfill that need, we can release the problem.
- If you were having problems with the previous affirmation, then repeat, ‘I am willing to release the need for this problem or resistance.’
- Procrastination is another form of resistance. If you procrastinate you will not allow yourself to have what it is you say you want.
- Resenting what another has in their life is another form of resistance.
- There is plenty for everyone.
- Choose no longer to be stuck. Say, ‘I am willing to release the pattern in my consciousness that is creating this condition.’ Begin to take your power back by dissolving the problem you helped to create.
